1. Introduction
These Booking Terms and Conditions ("Booking Terms") apply to all accommodation bookings made through the Vacayum Travel website, mobile applications, booking systems, customer service channels, or any other platform operated by Vacayum Travel ("Platform").
These Booking Terms explain the rules and conditions that apply when you make a reservation for accommodation through Vacayum Travel, including payment obligations, cancellation rights, amendments, refunds, and responsibilities during your stay.

- Vacayum Travel's Privacy Policy;
- any Property Provider terms or house rules applicable to your booking;
- any specific conditions displayed during the booking process.
If there is any conflict between these Booking Terms and property-specific booking conditions, the property-specific conditions will apply only where they relate specifically to that accommodation booking.

3.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise during the booking process, Vacayum Travel acts as an intermediary facilitating communication and transactions between Guests and Property Providers.
3.3 The Property Provider remains responsible for:
- the operation of the Accommodation;
- providing the booked stay;
- ensuring the Accommodation is available and suitable;

3.4 Vacayum Travel does not own, manage, or control most properties listed on the Platform.
3.5 Information relating to Accommodation, including descriptions, photographs, amenities, availability, pricing, and house rules, is supplied by Property Providers. Vacayum Travel uses reasonable efforts to display accurate information but cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, or error-free.
4. Making a Booking
4.1 When you submit a booking request through Vacayum Travel, you are making an offer to reserve the selected Accommodation subject to these Booking Terms and any applicable property-specific conditions.
4.2 Before completing your booking, you must review:
- accommodation details;
- travel dates;
- number of guests;
- total price;
- payment schedule;
- cancellation conditions;
- any additional charges.
4.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all booking details are correct before submitting your reservation.
4.4 A booking is only confirmed when:
- the required payment has been received or authorised;
- availability has been confirmed; and
- Vacayum Travel issues a Booking Confirmation.
4.5 Once confirmed, the booking creates a binding agreement between you and the relevant Property Provider, subject to these Booking Terms and any applicable laws.
4.6 You must provide accurate contact information so that Vacayum Travel and the Property Provider can communicate important booking information.
5. Booking Confirmation
5.1 After your booking has been accepted, Vacayum Travel will send a Booking Confirmation electronically.
5.2 The Booking Confirmation will normally include:

5.5 You should retain your Booking Confirmation and present it if requested during check-in.
6. Guest Information and Responsibilities
6.1 The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of the travelling party are aware of and comply with these Booking Terms.
6.2 The person making the booking must:
- be authorised to make the booking on behalf of all guests;

- additional services are requested by you;
- taxes or government charges are introduced or changed by law;
- the booking terms expressly allow adjustment.

- delay confirmation;
- cancel the booking where payment deadlines are not met.
10. Deposits and Advance Payments
10.1 Some bookings require payment of a deposit at the time of booking.
10.2 The deposit amount and payment deadline will be displayed before you confirm your reservation.
10.3 Unless otherwise stated, payment of a deposit does not mean the booking is fully paid. Any remaining balance must be paid by the date specified in your Booking Confirmation.
10.4 Failure to pay the remaining balance by the required deadline may result in cancellation of your booking and the application of cancellation charges.
10.5 Deposit terms may vary depending on the Property Provider and the cancellation policy selected.
10.6 Where a booking is cancelled, any refund of the deposit will depend on the applicable cancellation conditions.
11. Balance Payments
11.1 Where a balance payment is required, you must ensure that the outstanding amount is paid by the deadline shown in your Booking Confirmation.
11.2 Vacayum Travel or the Property Provider may remind you of upcoming payment deadlines, but you remain responsible for ensuring payment is made on time.
11.3 If the balance payment is not received by the deadline:
- the booking may be cancelled automatically;
- cancellation charges may apply;
- any deposit or previous payments may be retained where permitted under the applicable cancellation policy.
11.4 If your booking is cancelled due to non-payment, Vacayum Travel is not responsible for any resulting loss, including increased costs of alternative accommodation.

12.6 If you cancel after the permitted cancellation period, cancellation charges may apply.
12.7 You remain responsible for checking the cancellation conditions before booking, as different accommodations and rates may have different rules.
13. Refunds
13.1 Where you are entitled to a refund, Vacayum Travel or the relevant Property Provider will process the refund in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions.
13.2 Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

- the Accommodation becoming unavailable;
- safety concerns;
- legal or regulatory requirements;

- circumstances beyond the Property Provider's reasonable control.
15.2 Where a Property Provider cancels a confirmed booking, Vacayum Travel will use reasonable efforts to:
- notify you as soon as reasonably possible;
- assist with finding suitable alternative accommodation where available;
- provide information regarding any applicable refund process.
15.3 Any refund entitlement will depend on:
- the circumstances of the cancellation;
- the payment arrangements for the booking;
- applicable consumer protection laws.
15.4 Vacayum Travel does not guarantee the availability of alternative accommodation or that alternative accommodation will be at the same price, location, or standard as the original booking.
15.5 Where Vacayum Travel is acting solely as an intermediary, any compensation obligations of the Property Provider remain the responsibility of the Property Provider unless otherwise required by law.

16.4 Depending on the circumstances, available options may include:
- accepting the change;
- accepting an alternative arrangement;
- requesting a cancellation where permitted.
16.5 Minor changes that do not significantly affect the overall accommodation experience will not normally give rise to cancellation rights or compensation.
17. No-Shows
17.1 If you fail to arrive at the Accommodation on the Check-In Date without prior notice, this may be treated as a "no-show".
17.2 The consequences of a no-show depend on the applicable cancellation policy.
17.3 In the event of a no-show:
- the Property Provider may cancel the remaining nights of your reservation;
- payments already made may be retained where permitted;
- refunds may not be available.
17.4 If you expect to arrive late, you should notify the Property Provider using the contact details provided in your Booking Confirmation.
