A luxurious ski chalet right in the middle of a Hirafu Village in Japan’s famed ski resort destination of Niseko, Hakuchōzan is a four-level vacation wonder with seven en-suite bedrooms that excites, inspires, and entertains; defining a superior ski-holiday experience with its incredible features. Apart from the chalet manager, butler, driver, and chef, the chalet boasts four entertainment areas. One of these spaces is a generous deck with a hot tub, picture-perfect mountain view, an infra-red BBQ, and an attractive fire pit for cozy al fresco evenings. The vacation home has a unique Scandinavian interior with wooden floors, wood-paneled ceilings, and wood panel wall features too. A free-form wooden table is a striking art piece in the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with breakfast bar and fully-equipped kitchen. A real fire keeps the space lovely and warm too while looking out to the view of the glacial mountain-scape beyond. Hakuchōzan embraces the ski holiday vibe, serving breakfast to guests before they head out to the slopes as well as après-ski canapés. Meanwhile, the chalet chef can prepare dinners, including signature BBQ and Shabu-Shabu nights. A so-called ‘man cave’ or den has leather armchairs and a flat-screen TV with its bar. Sliding doors lead out to a covered patio with a funky ski-lift suspended seat and a brazier to keep warm and cozy in the evenings. In the games room, guests can enjoy gaming with the XBOX One or have a championship Bonzini foosball match. As well as luxurious services and fabulous entertainment zones, Hakuchōzan accommodates up to 16 guests with one of the bedrooms boasting four bunk beds, making it an ideal stay for families vacationing together.
Our multi-generational family holiday was seamless thanks to the amazing staff and layout of this home. The kids loved the games room, the adults adored the den with the well-stocked bar, and everyone enjoyed the BBQ on the deck. The management team coordinated everything perfectly. The property is as beautiful as the photos suggest, if not more so. Truly a five-star experience in every sense.
Simply stunning. Waking up to those mountain views from bed was a daily highlight. The attention to detail is remarkable.
Booked for a milestone birthday with friends. The chef-prepared dinner nights were a highlight, restaurant quality in the comfort of our own chalet. The layout is genius for large groups; plenty of spaces to be together or find quiet. The butler service made us feel utterly pampered.
We've stayed in many luxury rentals, but this set a new standard. The full-service model is what makes it exceptional. Not having to worry about meals, transport, or logistics allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the holiday. The team's knowledge of Niseko enhanced our trip immensely, suggesting lesser-known powder stashes and restaurants. The property itself is stunning, but it's the people that make it magical.
Perfect location, stunning home. The BBQ on the deck with the fire pit going was a fantastic way to spend an evening. The multiple living areas meant our group never felt crowded. The service was discreet yet always available when needed.
