Property highlights
Overview
Located in the tranquil resort of Selva Val Gardena, Chalet Villa Carolina combines luxury comfort with an absolutely stunning natural background. Privacy, breath-taking views and luxury wellness are the main features shaping this beautiful Italian property. Sleeping up to 10 guests, the chalet is characterised by modern alpine design, creating a lovely atmosphere for a family or group of friends looking for a luxury ski holiday in Val Gardena.
Chalet Villa Carolina is a wonderful property, split over three levels, to provide ample space for a group to enjoy together or separately. There is a large entertainment space on the lowest level of the property, while the two upper floors work as self-contained apartments with their own smaller and more intimate living areas. Throughout the property, the interior finish is harmonious and has been carefully considered, offering style and comfort and creating a welcoming atmosphere for your group.
The two living areas within the self-contained apartments both offer a comfortable sofa area with stunning mountain panoramas and plenty of natural light. A fireplace sets the scene in the background, whether you are relaxing in the lounge area or having a light bite to eat at the smaller dining tables adjacent to the modern kitchens. For self-catered stays, you'll find the chalet well-equipped with all you need to prepare meals to enjoy together. Both living spaces have direct access out onto either a large balcony or terrace to make the most of the sunny exposition the chalet offers and wonderful scenery of the Sassolungo and Sella Ronda peaks.
Downstairs in the basement level, this is where you will find the social hub of the chalet, just perfect for larger social dinners and family entertainment. This is a generous space, with an elegant dining area and large kitchen to one end and to the other a lounge area with feature fireplace, bar, and pool table. Whether you choose to select one of the 50 carefully chosen bottles of wine or decide to shake up a cocktail of choice at the free-standing bar, you'll find your evenings are well catered for.
In terms of wellness, Chalet Villa Carolina has this suitably covered. Soothe any achy muscles in the traditional wooden sauna with views out to the mountains, or immerse yourself in the bubbles of the panoramic outdoor hot tub while admiring the stunning Dolomites scenery. There is also a fitness room for any guests looking for a further workout.
The modern luxury design is also recalled in the five large bedrooms, all complete of their own en-suite shower room. Within the first floor apartment you'll find two of the bedrooms, both with balcony access and a private shower room. The remaining three bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with garden access. Two of the rooms are good size double bedrooms with marble en-suite shower rooms. The last bedroom has a Jack & Jill en-suite featuring a shower and the chalet's sauna. Each bedroom has a sleek and minimalist finish and a neutral palette to create a calming atmosphere for a good night's sleep. To meet guests' requirements all the bedrooms can also be organised as twins.
For additional convenience, Chalet Villa Carolina also features a ski room with heated boot warmers, lift access to all floors as well as laundry facilities. Self-driving guests will also have at their disposal a garage parking suitable for five cars and featuring an e-charging point.

This luxury mountain home provided the perfect setting for our multi-family winter getaway. The property's intelligent design with two self-contained apartments allowed our group to maintain privacy while enjoying wonderful shared spaces. The wellness amenities were exceptional - the traditional sauna with its panoramic mountain views and the outdoor hot tub were highlights we enjoyed daily. The basement entertainment area, complete with fireplace, bar, and professional pool table, became our evening sanctuary. Each bedroom offered luxury comfort with en-suite bathrooms and private outdoor access. The ski room with boot warmers made our daily routine effortless, and the elevator access between floors was surprisingly useful. The garage with electric vehicle charging was a thoughtful modern convenience. Located in the peaceful resort of Selva Val Gardena, we enjoyed both tranquility and easy access to world-class skiing. This property represents the absolute best in alpine luxury living.

Every aspect of this alpine chalet feels carefully considered and executed with quality. The two separate living areas provided wonderful flexibility for our group, allowing both together time and private moments. The wellness facilities are professional-grade - the sauna and outdoor hot tub became our daily ritual. What really stood out was how well the property accommodated our large group without ever feeling crowded. The garage with electric charging was incredibly convenient. This is hands-down the finest rental property we've experienced in the Dolomites.
