Overview
Villa Deckenia is a stunning five-bedroom estate in Praslin, Seychelles. It sits in a private cove with direct access to Anse Gouvernement Beach. Comprising three separate villas, the property is ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together.
On one side of the villa, beautifully-landscaped tropical gardens welcome guests. On the other side, sprawling terraces offer ocean views, and wooden stairways lead down to the white-sand beach with spectacular granite boulder formations and crystal-clear waters.
Guests can enjoy their own private slice of sand, ideal for beach parties or evenings spent around a flickering beach fire.
Along with direct beach access, the villa boasts three outdoor swimming pools, including a large infinity pool and two smaller plunge pools. Post-swim, guests can soak up the rays from the sun loungers or relax with a cool drink in the shaded outdoor lounge area.
Dining al fresco is a real treat at this luxury villa. Delicious meals prepared by the private chef create unforgettable memories of ocean-view lunchtimes or dinners under a canopy of stars.
The villa was constructed with its surrounding environment in mind, using natural and complementary building materials to integrate into the natural setting as much as possible. A tropical colour scheme, natural elements, and floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views create a relaxing atmosphere and an authentic island vibe.
Guests can enjoy a holiday read in the comfortable lounge, a film in the cosy TV room, or a refreshing drink at the bar. The property also boasts a well-stocked wine cellar where guests can select the perfect bottle for a stylish dinner party.
The villa accommodates up to 10 guests in five well-appointed bedrooms. The three bedrooms in the main villa all feature en-suite bathrooms and private terraces with beautiful ocean views. Two bedrooms have double beds, whilst the third offers a double bed, plus two single trundle beds, ideal for children.
Both guest houses comprise a double bedroom with en-suite facilities and a private ocean-view terrace with a plunge pool.

While the property is absolutely breathtaking and the beach access unparalleled, we did experience some minor maintenance issues with one of the plunge pools that took a couple of days to resolve. The staff was responsive though, and everything else was perfection - especially the wine cellar and those stunning ocean-view terraces.

While the property is beautiful and the location stunning, we did experience some minor maintenance issues with one of the plunge pools. The staff addressed it promptly, but it did affect our first couple of days. Otherwise, the tropical gardens and direct beach access were phenomenal.

Perfect for our multi-generational family trip. The layout with separate villas worked beautifully, allowing grandparents to have quiet space while the kids enjoyed their own area. The private chef was worth every penny - such delicious Creole cuisine!

Our two-week stay was absolute perfection. The property's layout with three separate villas meant our three families could be together while maintaining privacy. The kids loved having their own TV room, and we adults appreciated the well-stocked bar and wine cellar. The infinity pool became our daily gathering spot, and the direct beach access made spontaneous swims so easy. The tropical gardens are meticulously maintained and create such a peaceful environment. We particularly enjoyed the al fresco dining experiences with the private chef - the fresh seafood was incredible.
