Area:
Molori Safari Lodge is situated within the Madikwe Game Reserve, one of the largest reserves in South Africa. At 400 kilometres northwest of Johannesburg, the reserve borders Botswana and offers breath-taking views over expansive valleys to the imposing Dwarsberg Mountain beyond.
Visitors can spot “The Big Five” – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos – as well as an abundance of other native animals on their twice-daily game drives and guided bush walks. On the property itself, there’s a watering hole often frequented by elephants and guests can take in this spectacular sight from the nearby hide.
Our family of four had the most incredible week here. The children were fascinated by the wildlife, and the staff went out of their way to make it educational and fun for them. The private pools in each suite were perfect for cooling off after game drives, and the multiple observation decks offered different perspectives of this beautiful landscape. Waking up to the sounds of the bush while enjoying coffee on our terrace became our favorite morning ritual.
An absolutely magical experience from start to finish. The private suites with pools were breathtaking, and waking up to wildlife right outside was unforgettable. The staff's attention to detail and knowledge during game drives made this our best safari ever.
Pure magic. The way the suites blend indoor and outdoor living with those incredible views makes you feel completely connected to nature. The game drives were expertly led, and we learned so much about the ecosystem.
From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in the African wilderness while enjoying five-star comforts. The private fireplaces in each suite made for magical evenings, and the spa treatments were rejuvenating after long days of exploration.
The infinity pool and Jacuzzi were heavenly after long safari days. Staff remembered all our preferences. Saw incredible wildlife including rare wild dogs!
