Area:
Molori Safari Lodge is situated within the Madikwe Game Reserve, one of the largest reserves in South Africa. At 400 kilometres northwest of Johannesburg, the reserve borders Botswana and offers breath-taking views over expansive valleys to the imposing Dwarsberg Mountain beyond.
Visitors can spot “The Big Five” – lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos – as well as an abundance of other native animals on their twice-daily game drives and guided bush walks. On the property itself, there’s a watering hole often frequented by elephants and guests can take in this spectacular sight from the nearby hide.
The combination of luxury accommodation and authentic safari experience is unmatched. Our suite was spacious and beautifully appointed. The guided bush walks were educational and thrilling. Only minor issue was occasional Wi-Fi connectivity, but honestly, it helped us disconnect and enjoy nature more.
The combination of luxury and authentic safari experience is unmatched. We saw all Big Five animals within our first two days! The watering hole hide provided incredible close-up views without disturbing the animals.
The fireplaces in each suite created such cozy evenings. Library was well-stocked with interesting books about African wildlife. Staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special.
This exclusive retreat in Madikwe Game Reserve surpassed all our safari dreams. The five luxurious suites each offered complete privacy with stunning mountain vistas. The game drives were phenomenal; our guide's expertise led us to incredible sightings including a leopard in a tree and rhinos with calves. The combination of luxury amenities with raw African wilderness created the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.
Absolutely spectacular in every way. The retractable roof observatory was a unique feature we haven't seen elsewhere - stargazing in the clear African sky was breathtaking. Every meal was a culinary masterpiece.
